4. Use of cookies
In order to design the app as required, we use pseudonymised and anonymised usage profiles,
which we no longer associate with your name or any other information that identifies you. In
order to make our offer as pleasant as possible, we therefore use so-called cookies like many
well-known companies. Cookies are small text files that allow the user to be recognized so that

5. Use of device identification features in apps
Within our apps we use different methods of device identification
(for example, to provide functions, for error analysis and for statistical reporting purposes) and
for the output of user-specific information. We do this in particular to provide "push notifications"
within the capabilities of the apps, and to target advertising within applications as well as across
the application we offer. The latter is particularly relevant in the context of "frequency capping",
which ensures that advertising is played out only in a certain frequency for the user.
In this context, an identification feature is transmitted to our service provider / AdMob.
For these advertising controls, we use the so-called "Google Advertising ID" for Android apps
according to the specifications of Google, which you can use for example can see
here.
For iOS (Apple) devices, we use Apple's "Advertising Identifier".
By using these IDs, no conclusion is possible for you.
The IDs are created on your device in compliance with the operating system provider
guidelines and specifications. We also take note of your settings for user-specific
advertising. Push messages are played via "device tokens", an ID generated by Apple or
Google (for Android apps) when the app is launched.
6. Google Firebase
We also use the Google Firebase service to analyze and categorize user groups and
to serve push notifications, we use the Google Firebase service. You can find more
information and data protection on Google products here
and on Google.
6.1 Deactivation
If you have deactivated the measurement via Google Analytics (see above), the measurement via
Firebase is disabled, but only on this device, not on other devices that you may use.
Push messages can be deactivated in the settings of the app via the "Notifications" item
as well as via the system settings of your device.
